Clinical Director of Prosthetics

After high school, Carrie knew she wanted to do something in the medical field, but she wasn’t sure what. She worked as a technician over one summer, thinking she’d do that until she figured out what she wanted to do, shortly thereafter, she realized that orthotics and prosthetics interested her and was something she wanted to pursue. Her interest in patients and their circumstances led Carrie into all aspects of the O&P field. She studied as an orthotist, prosthetist and pedorthist and attended numerous courses in all areas of these studies. She continues to learn and grow as a practitioner as well as using her vast knowledge and love of outdoor sports to continue to improve the lives of her patients. Although her mission is to enhance the lives of others by helping them get up and walk, Carrie wants to take it to the next step. She wants to help her patients “truly walk the walk of life.”

Raj Prajapati, BOCO

Growing up in India, Raj has always been fascinated by the field of prosthetics and orthotics. Seeing how it made a huge difference in the lives of people inspired him to pursue his education in the field. After graduating, he began working as a prosthetist/orthotist helping and educating patients on how they can improve the quality of life. He states “helping prosthetic patients explore new hope in their life is rewarding.”
