Michael Hamontree
Chief Executive Officer
Michael grew up in the field of prosthetics and orthotics, working summer jobs though high school and college at his father’s business. After receiving an MBA from the University of Southern California, he took an interest in the business side of the profession and co-founded OrPro in 1990. Michael has served as president and director of the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association, director of the National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics and chair of several committees of the national professional organizations.
Steve Hamontree, CPO
President
Steve’s interest in prosthetics and orthotics began at an early age, and increased as he grew up in his father’s prosthetic facility. Since his certification in 1979, he has served as Director of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and served on the Standards Review Subcommittee of The American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics. He has also co-authored several articles and is published in the Journal of Vascular Surgery and the American Journal of Surgery. Steve completed his graduate work at UCLA School of Prosthetics and Orthotics in 1978 and is constantly involved in continuing education programs.
